La Federación Portuguesa organiza el III Trofeo Viriato de Frontball en la localidad de Viseu.
Tendrá lugar los días 30 y 31 de mayo y podrán participar deportistas de categoría absoluta y Sub-22.

A wooden paddle and leather pelota are used (the smallest pelota of those used in specialities with a leather pelota). It is very attractive and spectacular due to the speed of the game.
Preferably made of beech wood or another noble wood, it does not have to be from a single piece. They all have to be made of wood, with the following characteristics:

Imported from Mexico, where it is considered the national sport. A reinforced tennis racket and a rubber pelota are used.
They will be similar or the same as those used in the sport of tennis, made of wood, fibre, metal or graphite. The weight and tension of the cords are not limited. Double cords can be used, and there likewise is no limit on the length and width.
