La Agencia Mundial Antidopaje acaba de comunicar a la FIPV que se encuentra nuevamente habilitada y
en Compliance.
The ExCo also followed the CRC’s recommendation to reinstate as compliant, with immediate effect, the International Federation of Basque Pelota (FIPV), which had been non-compliant since October 2024. The non-compliance was the result of failure to address non-conformities identified through the CCQ exercise in 2023 in testing. The CRC confirmed to the ExCo that the previously stated reinstatement conditions had been successfully addressed by the FIPV.
El ExCo también siguió la recomendación del CRC de restablecer como conforme, con efecto inmediato, la Federación Internacional de Pelota Vasca (FIPV), que no había cumplido desde octubre de 2024. El incumplimiento fue el resultado de no abordar las no conformidades identificadas a través del ejercicio CCQ en 2023 en las pruebas. El CRC confirmó al ExCo que las condiciones de reincorporación previamente establecidas habían sido abordadas con éxito por el FIPV.

A wooden paddle and leather pelota are used (the smallest pelota of those used in specialities with a leather pelota). It is very attractive and spectacular due to the speed of the game.

54-metre Fronton. Men.
The most spectacular and universal speciality. The pelota reaches speeds of up to 300 km/h. It is played using an instrument that consists of chestnut and wicker, with a glove for the hand.
Made of chestnut, tightly woven wicker, grooved and cured, with a pocket for holding the pelota, it is composed of a grip, ribs, hoops and point. The glove is made of leather or similar material. Baskets made of plastic can also be used, as long as they are made technically the same as wicker ones.

Trinquete. Men.
It is played with an instrument formed by a chestnut wood hoop and a net, using a very quick leather pelota. The pelota is not hit, rather it is thrown hard, which results in a very fast game. This speciality was practised initially by the Basque clergy, who exported it to Argentina.
It is constructed out of a curved wicker or wooden ring, which holds a leather net attached around the inside that is Interlinked and somewhat loose.

A wooden paddle and a rubber pelota are used. The most played speciality (by children, men, women, and veterans), considered for leisure, it requires less.
Made out of a single piece of wood, or laminated with various kinds of wood. Aluminium and wood nails, with fibre lateral.

A wooden bat and a leather pelota are used, which is thicker and has a larger diameter than a rubber pelota. Very physical and spectacular speciality.

Habiendo recibido comunicado oficial de la Federación Española de Pelota, autorizando de forma la celebración del campeonato GRAVNI, esta Federación Internacional autoriza como consecuencia de la misma, la celebración del campeonato.

Fronton 30 m. Masculin et féminin.
Importé du Mexique où il s’agit du sport national. On utilise une raquette de tennis renforcée et une pelote de gomme.
Il sera semblable à celui utilisé en tennis, en bois, fibre, métal ou graphite. Son poids et son cordage ne sont pas limités, un double cordage pouvant être utilisé. Il n'y a pas non plus de limite de longueur et de largeur.
